Founder, William Orlando Feenaughty, son of an Irish immigrant, moved from New York to Portland hoping to find his way in the timber industry. While he never began a career in timber, he started a machinery company in 1901 that sold street cleaners in Portland. Over 100 years later and Feenaughty provides equipment, parts, and service for those in the timber and construction industry. Feenaughty Machinery evolved through the years and sold various types of equipment before solidifying a space in construction and forestry. Since 1901 the business has been carried on by five generations of family and as a family-owned business we value our relationships with our customers and pride ourselves in our excellent customer service.
